Sea Mustard Soup(미역국)

Sea Mustard Soup and Vegetable Stir-fry


Friday dinner. Sea mustard are cooked in beef stock and seasoned with salt. Sea Mustard is another kind of seaweed that is used mostly in soup in Korea. After giving a birth Korean women usually eat this soup for more than one month as it is believed that sea mustard('mi-yoek',미역) is a good source of iodine that helps the women to get clean blood after giving a birth.
