Turnip Kimchi(깍뚜기)

Turnip Kimchi


Tuesday. Diced turnip are seasoned with salt and then left for one hour to get some water out from the turnip dices. Then they are tossed with red chili powder, garlic, spring onions, ginger and a pinch of sugar. This food can be kept in the refrigerator more than a month and enjoyed as a side dish for breakfast or dinner.
